Miss Officer and Mr. Truffles started as a cute cartoon image by the artist Ami, (also known as Lemonteaflower) inspired by this post:

Faster than the artist could have ever anticipated, a fandom blossomed, and an overwhelming love for the ladycop and her bear buddy couldn’t be ignored. In January, the image had spread its way from Mexico to the great white north of Vancouver, Canada… and across the dashboard of the writer Smogtongue. Since then, the pair have been working on turning Miss Officer and Mr. Truffles into a reality; crafting a cohesive narrative and a diverse cast of interesting characters.
They can’t do it without you, the fanbase. The love that has grown for these characters inspires the creators. The MOAMT team wants to be interactive with its fans, as it has been from the very beginning.
Even the original Miss Officer is in on the fun.

OUR MISSION
To create an animated show about a female officer and her sentient bear, who solve cases and keep the peace within their small quirky town. We are focused on a cast that has accurate and positive representations of different races, gender identities, and sexual orientations. With a target audience of ages 8-12 (and similar in feel to shows like Gravity Falls and Adventure Time), we want to create a program that all youth can identify with and look up to. In a time where children beginning to discover their own identities, we feel the need to incorporate role models that everyone can identify with.
Miss Officer and Mr. Truffles is a safe place for everyone.
FUTURE DEVELOPMENT
We intend to move forward with a Kickstarter campaign. This will be used to fund a 7-minute animated production short and the publicity costs for it. We will then take our short and publicity material to network studios within USA and Canada, with the goal to be picked up as a half-hour series.
In the event that we are not picked up by a television network, we will move forward with a second Kickstarter; this would be with the greater ambition of producing the show ourselves online, much like “Bee and Puppycat”.
We have now reached the point where we need to finish building the MOAMT staff so that development can progress— from inspiration and hard work, to a reality and success. We invite you to check out our Now Hiring page for more details.
